![]() ![]() It would be great if you could use Sonos software or another 3rd party software but they seem to restrict this in many ways. installed on High Sierra without an issue so 1 star is all I feel this product is worth. The Sonos Play:1 speakers sound decent however what's the point if you can't really use them as speakers with everything, only a few things in their own limited capacity. If I would have known I was spending this much money on two speakers with such limitations I would have purchased something else. You can't even watch a movie on your Mac and connect the audio to the Sonos speakers. You can only really play music and certain radio stations. Once configured on iOS and macOS I discovered that this is more of a joke. I was shocked that you must create an on-line account before you're able to configure them, then your information is uploaded to Sonos and shared across other devices using that same login. I purchased Sonos Play:1's not too long ago however today was the first time I unboxed them and set them up. And so is which Controller you use - the dedicated Sonos Controller, Sonos Controller for iPhone, Sonos Controller for Mac or PC, or a combination of all four. ![]() You can play the same song in every room or choose different songs for different rooms. Tune in to your favorite radio station or browse through your entire music library. With the touch of a finger you can find and play a world of music, whether it's streaming direct from the Internet or stored on your computer.
